All of Gary McCarthy books I have read have been good ones and this is no exception.
Great book could not put it down once I starting reading
Enjoyed the story line...more description verbage sometimes than I like but would read the story anyway.
Believable from beginning to end. There should be more stories about Mando. I would recommend it you like a good story.
Being from Southwest Texas, I can relate to much of the historical aspect and geography of the locations in the story. As usual, the author does a good job of research and keeps the reader turning to the next page. Very enjoyable reading.
I chose this title because it seems that it is imperative to make all western heroes bigger than life but even after that the story is good and interesting. Enjoy
Thrilling book to read even though it contains soem balunders e.g. Winchester rifles were not avaliable at the time of the Alamo etc. In spite of that I enjoyed the book
