Ridmark Arban is ready to face the terrible Frostborn in a final battle.

But even the mighty Frostborn themselves have been duped, for the shadow of Incariel has used them as its weapons.

Unless Ridmark can defeat the Shadowbearer, the shadow of Incariel shall rise and devour the world for all time...

Frostborn The Shadow Prison Frostborn #15 eBook Jonathan Moeller

Wow, just finished the final book in this 15 book series, and just have to say, it was a ride, from beginning to end. Thoroughly enjoyed it. This final book had a few more typographical errors than previous books, but other than that, a thoroughly enjoyable read. And in response to the person complaining about the "invincible hero" complex, if you want all the people you get attached to in a book to die, go read some of George R. R. Martin's work, and quit whining to the rest of us.

Frostborn The Shadow Prison Frostborn #15 eBook Jonathan Moeller Reviews

At last we come to the end of the series, after killing what must be millions of creatures small and large, with various abilities to kill and maim you. Tales of intrigue, betrayal, outright evil and love. The main characters except for a couple continue thru the whole series. The Dragon Knight is indeed a something to behold..
One of my favorite books in the series! I love how the author gives greater depth to the closure, truly giving a fitting array of endings all tied together and meaningful to any reader who has had the pleasure of enjoying the Frostborn series. Looking forward to reading more from this author and kudos again for the great work in this series!
Jonathan Moeller avoided the most common problem I've seen in a long series like this. It is very difficult to write a series like this one without having a let-down in the end, when the author is forced to pull a deus-ex-machina conclusion out of a hat. Moeller avoided that, and his conclusion is very logically linked to the rest of the book. It brings everything together in a very nice way, I have no hesitation about recommending the entire series to others.
A solid ending to a solid series. At times the series felt like it was going to be a little long in the teeth, but the action was solid, the characters and motivations believable, and I was anxious to see how things turned out for our intrepid heroes and heroines. If nothing else, the fact that I (and judging from the number of reviews many others as well) purchased all 15 books should tell you something. If you like fantasy, you owe it to yourself to give the series a try.
Just finished the series and it was fantastic. It has been a long time coming (15 books is a lot) but each book was enjoyable and a non-stop read. Although there were many losses to the characters during the series, the extra chapters at the end detailing the life rewards the remaining characters are experiencing was awesome. It made me cry for their happiness. I recommend the series to anyone who loves an enriching read and it will certainly occupy your mind, and at times, your heart, for days and weeks to come. I am looking forward to the next series continuing the exploits of these characters I have come to know so well. As a woman, I was thrilled with the strong female characters. In a way, I hope this is the never ending story.
The final battle looms. It is all or nothing as the high elves get ready to destroy the world rather than let shadow devour it. The keeper and the dragon knight have their job cut out for them. Can they save the well and their friends in time ?
For a series as long as the Frostborn saga creating a satisfying conclusion can be a major challenge. Thankfully this time I can report a major success!. All the pieces from previous novels come into play - the alliances, the villains and the artifacts all combine in one final showdown. Overall "The Shadow Prison" is quite reminiscent of Tolkien's "Return of the King" with the added bonus of flying cities, mutant knights and time bending swords.

My only issue with the book, and hell with the series as a whole, is the immortal hero syndrome, given the scale and intensity of the battles the protagonists' survival rates are quite astonishing, especially in this final book
